Easy Golden Milk Latte Recipe for Immune and Cognitive Boosting

How would you like to start your day off with an immunity boost, a brain boost, and a mood boost all in one quick and easy latte that does NOT include any caffeine or coffee? 

At first glance, this latte recipe seems quite simple since it can consists of 4 ingredients that you probably already have in your home. But each of these ingredients has been chosen with thoughtful intention for their functional benefits. 

Of all the ingredients in the recipe, Pantry's Good Day Bite has really done some superfood heavy lifting to get us started. Each Good Day Bite already contains:

  • Curcumin:

    The active ingredient in turmeric. Loaded with antioxidants, this active ingredients has been shown to have anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, and anti-fungal properties giving you and immunity boost.
  • Golden Milk Spice blend:

    The Good Day Bite is already equipped with ginger, cloves, and cinnamon to spice up this golden milk with having to do any measuring
  • Cocoa butter:

    Just like cannabis, curcumin is better absorbed when taken with fats. Cocoa butter provides a healthier, plant-based fat that contains the treasured fats known as MCTs (medium-chain triglycerides).
  • Lion's mane mushroom:

    This adaptogenic mushroom is not your usual dinner mushroom ingredient. Lion's mane provides a cognitive boost with alertness (and without the jitters that caffeine brings). It has also been shown to improve mood and reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety.
  • Ashwagandha:

    This Ayurvedic root has been used for centuries and has long been lauded for its ability to reduce stress, anxiety, and even cortisol levels in some consumers.
  • 1:1 ratio of CBD to THC:

    This balanced ratio with act on both the body's CB1 and CB2 receptors working to help reduce inflammation and pain, while additionally lifting mood and creativity.

Even though there is turmeric in the Good Day Bite, we recommend adding an additional 1/2 teaspoon to the latte for the added health benefit along with the beautiful, vibrant color that it brings to this latte.

Studies have shown that turmeric is better absorbed  when consumed with black pepper, so we top off this recipe with just a pinch both for looks and for its functional benefit.

Easy Golden Milk Latte with Cannabis Recipe

Serving size: 1 latte

Cannabis per serving: 5 mg THC and 5 mg CBD per serving
Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Tools

Coffee Mug
Frother or blender, if available


1 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 Pantry Good Day Bite
8 oz Almond Milk
Black Pepper
Powdered Ginger (optional)
Cinnamon (optional)

Cloves (optional)

Recipe Instructions

  1. Warm almond milk over stove, taking off of heat just before it starts to simmer
  2. Add turmeric and a Good Day Bite, then quickly whisk ingredients together. If a more frothy consistency is desired, use frother or blender to mix.
  3. Optional: add additional cloves, cinnamon or ginger to reach desired taste.
  4. Pour into coffee mug, and top with black pepper. Enjoy!
